Self-proclaimed Indonesia’s Reggae Ambassador, Ras Muhamad, will be launching his first-ever book “Negeri Pelangi” meaning “Rainbow Country”. A book written by the Reggae Ambassador’s own hands describes his journey through Ethiopia and his thoughts of the Rastafari movement. A soul-searching journey in which he finds the connection of Indonesian modern history and the similarities of Pan-African Struggle, Haile Selassie Emperor Ethiopia and Reggae legend Bob Marley.
The book-launch will include live music performances by: Boys N Roots, Conrad Good Vibration, Republik 21 and Day Afternoon and a special live performance by Ras Muhamad & the Easy Skankin band featuring Emilio of GangstaRasta and Indonesian Reggae Legend Tony Q!
With numerous works and projects including releasing 3 solo albums, over 2 dozen collaborations with local and international artists and countless live performances – Ras Muhamad premiers the first book on Reggae, Rastafari and Indonesian Nationalism/Identity!
