Meet the Makers is a landmark craft show held twice a year in Jakarta by a community of artists, craftspeople, and designers from all over Indonesia who come together for three days to sell their handmade wares directly to the public. Come watch ikat weaving, batik making, mat weaving, and ceramic demonstrations, and enjoy Indonesian traditional food and music.
Meet the Makers has grown into a national movement of artists, and art and heritage advocates, who are striving to maintain, promote, and nurture Indonesia’s handmade craft traditions.
